When you have something important to say, you travel to California to say it to Ellen.
That’s exactly what country superstar did earlier this month, when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to announce that his new album “Kill the Lights” would be officially released on August 7. To celebrate his album release day, Bryan also announced that he will perform that day on Good Morning America as part of their wildly popular “Summer Concert Series” at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park.
While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year stuck around to perform his new single “Kick the Dust Up,” which continues its trek up the charts. In fact, Bryan says that the song has been a favorite of his fans for awhile.
“We’ve been performing the new song on tour this spring, using it to open the shows,” shared Luke in a recent press release. “We love the crowd reaction to it and I cannot wait to be able to share more new music this summer. It’s been two years since we’ve had a new album and I don’t think I’ve been this eager yet to get it out to the fans.”
