Luke Bryan brings a little sunshine to this 12-year-old boy fighting cancer Twitter/@carsonstrong4

Luke Bryan connected with a very brave young man during a recent visit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

Carson Higgins is 12-years-old and has been battling cancer off and on since he was just three-years-old. He’s currently facing a relapse, but you can see Carson was all smiles when he met Luke at the hospital on May 26.

Carson tweeted the photo along with the message, “Big S/o (shoutout) to @LukeBryanOnline for coming and visiting St. Jude patients and bringing some happiness into their days.”

Luke tweeted Carson back saying, “Good to meet you, buddy.”
