Luke Bryan bonds with his eldest son during adorable fishing trip Instagram/LukeBryan

There’s no doubt that Luke Bryan has a busy life, as one of the biggest stars in country music, but he still sets aside plenty of time to be an amazing father to his two kids, Thomas “Bo” Boyer, 9, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher, 6.

Now that his sons are growing up, the singer is determined to show them the ropes on how to be true outdoorsmen, just like their daddy.

In a new video clip from Luke’s popular “LBTV” web series, the star takes his eldest son out on a fishing trip before they go on Bo’s first-ever excursion to Cabela’s. He and his boy cast their poles out into the water while standing in a boat.

When Bo reels in a fish, his daddy says, “Oh, look at that. You stole my fish,” before putting his son up to the challenge of guessing the fish’s size.

“How big is that fish?” Luke asks, before telling his son that it’s “about a pound.”

“Or two,” Bo confidently replies.

“That ain’t no two pounder boy,” Luke laughs.

Okay. Okay. Perhaps the boys have a bit more training to do before they become outdoor pros like their dad. Whatever the case, it’s great to see Luke and Bo getting in some good ol’ father/son bonding.

Aside from enjoying precious family moments, Luke is currently on the road playing dates for his “Huntin,’ Fishin,’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour.” Launched in early May, the tour goes until the end of October. For a complete list on all of his tour stops visit Luke’s official website here.
