We knew Blake Shelton was bonding with Gwen Stefani’s kids, but this latest story tells us just how serious things are getting!

Blake recently stopped by the nationally-syndicated morning radio show “Ty, Kelly & Chuck” and dished about his latest adventures with the boys.

You’ll remember back over the summer that Gwen’s sons joined her and Blake for a trip to the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Oklahoma to learn about Native American culture. When the couple shared photos on social media, everyone couldn’t help but notice how happy they looked, and also how Kingston, Zuma and little Apollo were dressed like Blake in plaid shirts, cowboy boots and camouflage.

So when Blake got together with his radio pals, they couldn’t help but tease him about it.

“We gotta teach ’em that there’s a higher standard to hold yourself up to,” Blake joked on the show about the boys.

And it doesn’t stop with the fashion—there’s one other signature style element Gwen’s sons are obsessed with: Blake’s deer track tattoo on his left forearm!

“Gwen is a pretty good artist, as far as drawing,” he said. “The kids want this horrifying tattoo … and she’ll spend an hour or so with a sharpie painting on the tattoo.”

She’s there a lot with Blake in Oklahoma, and since her kids were out of school, the whole gang was there for much of the summer. It was the perfect time for Blake to teach the boys a thing or two about country living.

“Fishing, anything like that … fire,” he said.

Of course he means campfire. We think it’s so sweet that Blake loves her boys and they love him right back.
