Listen as Cam joins Lady Antebellum to belt out this incredible version of “Burning House” YouTube

For 30 years, Cam knew life one way. She was just another singer trying to make it. She had released one single to radio entitled “My Mistake” that failed to reach the charts. But on June 16, 2015, Cam’s record company released her song “Burning House.”

And life was never, ever the same.

As successful as “Burning House” eventually was in terms of sales and awards, success was a slow burn. The label didn’t release the song until she had played it twice on a popular radio show and even then, the music video wasn’t released until October, a full four months later. But songs have a way of cutting through and “Burning House” did just that.

Nothing was going to keep this song down and as it rose, it took Cam to new heights with it.

At the 2016 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Cam’s performance of the song on the stadium stage with Lady Antebellum accompanying her was one of the highlights of the four-day music fest.
