There are certain country music fans that still have trouble seeing LeAnn Rimes as anything other than a shy little girl belting out songs such as “Blue” and “How Do I Live,” and gathering a slew of Grammy, ACM and CMA Awards into her outstretched arms.
But just as a reminder, she’s not that shy little girl anymore.
She is now a grown, 35-year-old woman who doesn’t seem to have a shy bone in her body, and has gone on to sell 40 million records, appear in films and even write two novels. During a recent weekend in Vegas, LeAnn shared her backstage experience via her Instagram page, showing off a bevy of pics and videos showing off her light and fun side, and her not so shy side.
Yet, in a recent interview with Montery County Weekly, LeAnn did admit that she can sometimes get shy still to this day, especially when she is onstage. “The singing part is something I never worry about, but engaging the crowd and telling stories is the hardest part for me,” LeAnn said about her current “Love is Love Acoustic Tour.”
“When I have an audience that gets into it,” she added, “there’s a great flow of conversation and music.”
