We haven’t heard much from Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott since she delivered twin girls at the end of January, but that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise because, well … twins.

But she did manage to squeeze out a photo for her family, friends and fans recently, and it definitely reveals what her world is like these days.

In the picture, shared on her Instagram Story, we can see just the tops of the nuggets’ noggins. And if you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice that they are wearing the same stretchy little knit caps they received at the hospital. On the photo, Hillary writes, “💜 & 😴 So worth it! Seriously can’t believe this is the new normal. And at some point hats other than the ones from the hospital will fit them.”

The identical twin girls, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, weight in at a petite 5 1/2 pounds each when they arrived on Jan. 29, so they are just a couple of weeks old. And since little ones only gain a pound or two a month for the first few months, they’ll seem small for a bit. But of course they are well-loved and cared for, so they will likely soon be bouncing around Nashville with the other country babies, including the kiddos of Hillary’s Lady Antebellum bandmates, 3-year-old Cash and nearly 2-month-old Lillie Haywood, and just turned 2-year-old Ward Kelley.

Lady Antebellum is taking a break from touring for the first half of the year, but starting in July, when the twins are a little over five months old, they’ll be packing up family buses and hitting the road. We’re assuming that Hillary and her little family will have their own bus, but Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood could share one, and with Darius Rucker and newcomer Russell Dickerson also on the “Summer Plays On Tour,” there could be a lot of songwriting going down if the bus is also used as a rolling writers’ room.

Of course, Lady Antebellum’s last project, “Heart Break,” just came out in June 2017, so we don’t expect to see a new release from them until at least 2019, but we also can’t see them missing out on the opportunity to write for either Lady A, Darius or Russell’s next projects during the little ones’ nap times.

Hillary and husband Chris Tyrrell aren’t the only ones that got the news last year that they were expecting twins. After Hillary and Chris shared the big news, we also learned that Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, are also expecting twins.

We’re actually on baby watch now for Chris and Morgane, who didn’t reveal a due date or their babies’ genders. However, Morgane was already visibly pregnant last November at the CMA Awards, and by the Grammys in January she had a perfectly precious bump.

Wishing Chris and Morgane a safe delivery for their double bundle, whenever they arrive, and hoping Hillary, Chris and the twins’ big sister Eisele have a good night’s sleep in their future.
