Has everyone seen the holiday movie “White Christmas?” In it, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen play a sister act whose song and dance cast a spell over Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. The first song that the fellas hear the girls sing is the tongue-in-cheek “Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters.”
It looks like Hillary Scott’s newborn twins, Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn, are well on their way to being “such devoted sisters.”
Hillary recently shared a photo of the precious girls on Instagram, and although we can’t see their faces, we can see that the snuggle is real, and pretty darn cozy, as the girls face each other in their respective jammies, almost making a heart shape with their little bodies.
In another picture on Hillary’s page, someone is holding one of the twins, but instead of the girls having each other’s backs, it looks like one of the family’s pups, Hobbs, is playing the not-so-fierce protector. Sitting next to the baby and whoever is holding her, Hobbs sits very close, paw on leg and eyes on the baby.
Hillary writes, “Hobbs. Begging for attention or protecting one of his new little additions to our family? You be the judge. 😂”
The results are split, with some of Hillary’s followers saying, “He’s protecting. Look at that face. LOL. He’s like ‘Don’t you dare touch her’ Haha,” and others responding with, “Begging for attention … definitely.” One reader even sweetly reminded Hillary, “Aww, he’s saying, ‘You used to hold me like that.’ 🐶”
Hillary and her Lady Antebellum pals, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with their good friend Darius Rucker, will be hitting the road in a few more months, and Hills is getting ready for the strenuous tour by getting into a fitness routine. Fortunately for Hillary, her trainer lives with her. Yep, husband Chris is training both his wife and her best friend, Talia, in the couple’s home gym.
You can get tour dates and ticket information for the shows, which also include “Yours” singer Russell Dickerson, on Lady Antebellum’s website.
