Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell welcome a pair of pretties Instagram/@HillaryScottLA

We just love that line in the movie “Steel Magnolias” where Shelby is describing her wedding: “My colors are blush and bashful.” Her mother, M’Lynn, then replies, “Her colors are pink and pink.”

We’d like to congratulate Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell on their own version of “blush and bashful.”

Hillary, Chris and big sister Eisele Kaye, welcomed their twin girls in the early morning hours of Jan. 29, according to a post on Hillary’s Instagram page.

Hillary shared a photo of her new daughter’s hospital caps, simply labeled “A” and “B,” but hasn’t yet posted a picture of the newborns or shared their names. She did write, “Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls. They were born in the early hours of Jan. 29th, 2018 and we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come. Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies. #twins”

Hillary was unable to travel to New York for the Grammy Awards with bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood due to her condition, but coincidentally, prior to the award show, the boys shared a post on Instagram asking Hillary if she had the babies yet.

The entire country music community was anticipating the arrival of this precious pair of sweethearts, not just because they are twins, but also because Hillary suffered a difficult miscarriage in 2015. The singer-songwriter spoke openly about the comfort she found in her family and her faith while she and Chris recovered from that loss, She then channeled her grief into the Grammy Award-winning song “Thy Will” which became part of the album, ”Love Remains,” that Hillary recorded with her family.

And speaking of family, these precious darlings have quite a musical lineage. Their grandmother is singer Linda Davis, who may be best known for her hit 1993 duet with Reba McEntire, “Does He Love You.” Grandpa is musician Lang Scott and Aunt Rylee is also becoming an accomplished singer as well.

We’ve also seen proof that the twins’ big sister, Eisele, has got some musical chops as well. In video her proud mom has shared on her Instagram page, the curly-haired 4-year-old proved that she has great pitch and a knack for being a musical director.

We see a family band in the making!

Of course, all of the Lady Antebellum kiddos, including Charles Kelley’s son, Ward, and Dave Haywood’s son Cash and daughter Lillie, could potentially join forces and take country music to the next level … in 15 or 16 years. Heck, Ward is showing some big signs of a career in music.

It’s a little too early for much speculation, though. For now, we’ll just enjoy watching all of the Baby Bellums, including Blush and Bashful, grow up.

Congratulations Hillary and Chris!
