There are a lot of cool things to being a country star. Sold-out shows, being able to see the world and most importantly, being able to write and sing music for a living!
There are some downsides, however, and while summertime is a great time for business with all the festivals, it’s tough on the families of country music artists. Of course, if the kids are old enough, you can take them out with you since school is out on break. But when they’re babies, it can be tough to transform a tour bus into a nursery.
When Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley was home for CMA Music Fest in Nashville recently, he was given a rare weekend at home to spend with his bouncing baby boy.
Charles took to Instagram June 14 to post a video of him and his four-month old son, Ward, and simply captioned it “#badboys.”
The look on little Ward’s face is priceless and as you can see, that’s a little man that surely loves his daddy! You can tell he’s got his daddy in him, too, because about half way through the video, he finds the camera and from that point on he’s playing right to everyone at home!
