You just never know what you might see at a country music concert. But it’s safe to say that no one gathered at a March 4 concert in West Palm Beach, Florida expected rocker Kid Rock to walk out onstage and rock their faces off.

Yet, that’s exactly what happened shortly after country star Chris Janson began the opening verse of his hit single ‘Buy Me a Boat.” As the crowd was getting into the song, they were shocked to see Kid Rock walk out to not only perform with Chris, but also a countrified version of his own hit song “Cowboy.” Quickly, social media was flooded with reactions to the surprise performance.

The performance served as yet another highlight to Chris’ 2017. Come April, Chris will travel to Las Vegas as he picked up a nomination for ACM New Male Artist of the Year.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Chris said in a recent press release. “I love my life, love my job and love being recognized. I am so grateful. Unexpected blessings are the best.”

You got that right, Chris.

Chris will also join Sam Hunt on the road this summer for the 15 in a 30 Tour, as well as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for select dates on their Soul2Soul Tour.
