The Rare Country Awards honor the year’s best in country music as determined by fans. Cast your vote at RareCountryAwards.comWinners to be announced Dec. 15.

Kid Rock is the kind of guy that marches to the beat of his own drum, regardless of the naysayers.

With that said, the rebel rocker from Detroit doesn’t just express his “Devil Without A Cause” personality through words. He also flaunts it with fashion.

Perhaps that’s why some fans had a little hay-day fun a few weeks back when they altered photos of Kid Rock highlighting his political stance. One picture, which was declared fake by Snopes.com, displayed a message of approval for President-elect Donald Trump on Kid Rock’s T-shirt.

You can see the image that circulated the web above. In the photo, Kid Rock’s plain black shirt depicts an electoral map of America, and it labels red states as The United State of America and blue states as “Dumbfuckistan.” Now that the viral portrait has taken off, Kid Rock decided to launch his own personal brand of Trump apparel.

The 45-year-old star announced the new business venture via Twitter with the photoshopped image and tweet, “Due to overwhelming demand, we decided to go ahead and actually make this and other current event merch.”

That announcement sent many fans into a tizzy with mixed reactions.

One follower wrote, “@KidRock / No longer a fan of yours…shoulda kept your politics quiet….”
