Kenny Chesney just spread some summer love to his fans with his 2016 tour dates — is he coming to your town? AP

As the temps start to fall and the holiday countdowns begin, it’s time to start thinking about your plans…for Summer 2016!

Thank you Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert.

The two country superstars will join together on Chesney’s 2016 “Spread the Love” tour, with the first set of stadium dates announced via a press release on Oct. 27.
“People always want to know about the stadiums,” said Chesney about the new tour, which will also include sets by Sam Hunt and Old Dominion. “It’s a big show… a lot of music… and the kind of day people come together and celebrate friendship. We know a lot of people travel to these dates from all over, so to give them as much time as possible to get ready, I figured it’d be nice to get these out in front of our other shows! There could be a stadium date or two added, but for everyone who’s asking, let’s get next year started, right now.”

As you may recall, Lambert and Chesney gave fans a sneak peak of what might become a regular collaboration on the 2016 tour during this past summer during an impromptu performance in Chicago. “Miranda was such an awesome addition in Chicago,” Chesney said. “When I was thinking about what I wanted to do this year, how to keep the energy we had and give the fans something truly great musically, she just made sense. She’s a songwriter, a great singer and she loves music every bit as much as I do. In a stadium, those things matter.”
