Countless women work their butts off to make motherhood look like a breeze. They send out adorable pics, boast about their kid’s accomplishments and brag about how blessed they are.

But, there are days when everything falls apart around them, no matter how hard they try to keep everything together.

Just ask Kelly Clarkson.

“There are days where s**t hits the fan and I’m crying because there’s not enough time to do everything,” Kelly recently told People Magazine. “But that’s any mom. It’s a hard thing to take care of children. You’re molding lives. You don’t want to suck at it.”

Kelly admits that it’s hard to keep everything straight, especially with two children that have quite strong personalities. “River is totally me,” Kelly said. “She annoyingly wants attention all the time. Remington is totally my husband (Brandon Blackstock.) He’s this wallflower.”

And while she may be one of the most exciting artists out there right now, she admits her shortcomings. “I’m bad at time management,” Kelly explains. “I definitely feel mom guilt a lot. I think every good mom does, right? I think I have mom guilt too, because my mom didn’t have help and I have help. I feel like ‘Why can’t I do it all?” But you can’t. That’s dumb.”

Thanks, Kelly. You just made us all feel a whole heck of a lot better.
