Kelly Clarkson has been taking the media circuit by storm lately to not only promote her role as a coach on the new season of NBC’s “The Voice,” but to also delight audience members with music from her current album, “Meaning of Life.”

Earlier this week, she appeared on the “Today” show, and then stopped by to visit with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.” But when she guest-starred on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Feb. 27, the pop superstar made sure to throw a playful dig at her pal and fellow “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton.

As you might know, Blake stands at 6’ 5.” Of course, his towering height is just an added bonus to his already handsome looks. Remember, he was voted “People” magazine’s 2017 “Sexiest Man Alive.” But that didn’t stop Kelly from pointing out that Blake’s height makes him an easy mark when it comes to bantering with her and their “The Voice” co-stars, longtime coach Adam Levine and season 12 winner Alicia Keys.

“Adam and Blake and I all know each other, and they know Alicia really well because they’ve done a couple seasons with her, so it makes it really fun with the banter,” Kelly told host Seth Meyers. “We all go in on each other and no one is like, ‘You’re so mean.’ Like, no one cares. We’re just messing around.

“I do go in on Blake a lot though,” she continued. “He’s kind of a giant target. Every time we do a photo together for, like, any promo you see, I’m always on two steps, or otherwise I look like an Oompa Loompa because I’m 5’3”.”

Seth then added, “He’s a giant man. Like, when he comes on this show his feet go through the floor.”

Too funny!

Aside from poking fun at Blake’s stature, Kelly also performed two new songs, “I Don’t Think About You” and “Didn’t I.” For her performance of the latter, Kelly showed off her sass on the lyrics, while a handful of backup singers contributed to the performance with harmonies and finger snaps.
