Kelly Clarkson and Meghan Linsey make sweet music on “The Voice” finale

Some good ole girl power was on display at the May 19 finale of “The Voice” as finalist and former Steel Magnolia’s member Meghan Linsey joined vocal powerhouse Kelly Clarkson on a rendition of her brand new single “Invincible.”

“The Voice has shown me what I am made of and that anything is possible…I really believe that,” Linsey said in a recent interview.

Linsey and Clarkson seemed to feed off each other quite nicely, with both of their strong, soulful vocals effortlessly delivering the empowering lyrics of the song.

It was definitely the highlight of the night for Linsey, who unfortunately didn’t win. This season’s winner was Team Pharrell member Sawyer Fredericks.

Despite the emotional highs and lows for the winner and losers, one of the most heart-warming moments of the night was definitely the tribute to recently departed blues legend B.B. King. Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera teamed up on the legendary hit “The Thrill Is Gone.”
