The country music community is overflowing with great patriots, advocates and supporters of the United States and for those who defend our homeland and our rights as Americans. Country stars are vocal about their love of America and American troops. Many, like Toby Keith, Craig Morgan and Kid Rock, trade in their Wranglers and cowboy boots for fatigues and combats boots and head overseas to give those hardworking men and women a taste of home… and some good ole country music.

Kellie Pickler is also one of those stars who likes to visit with the troops overseas and stateside. In fact, she has tattoos marking many of her military tours. She and husband Kyle, who often accompanies her on those trips, have forged lasting relationships with our national heroes and sheroes, so Veteran’s Day gives the couple a chance to celebrate their friends, including the late “American Sniper” and former Navy Seal Chris Kyle.

Kellie and her husband recently spent some time with the Kyle family and a couple of other American heroes, Bryan Anderson and Justin Jordan, and the visit left a lasting impact. Kellie shared photos on her Instagram page and then promised more from their visit on the finale of “I Love Kellie Pickler,” which premiered on CMT Nov. 10, but is also available on CMT.com.

In a show of support for American veterans, Kellie will also headline Rare Country’s VIP Pre-Jam on Nov. 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The acoustic show will include special guests and will serve as the warm-up event to Charlie Daniels’ 80th birthday Volunteer Jam with Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton and more.
