Keith Urban is usually the one in the spotlight, whether he is taking the stage headlining his own tour or taking his seat as a judge on “American Idol.”
So the role he ultimately played on the night of March 19 was a bit new to him. Performing as part of birthday gal’s Reese Witherspoon’s Vegas bash, Keith was on hand to help the Southern cutie celebrate her 40th birthday alongside stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Laura Dern.
Keith and Reese collaborated on the song “Sweet Home Alabama,” obviously reminiscent of Reese’s role in the 2002 movie of the same name. Keith also used the night to touch base with former country queen Taylor Swift, who was also on hand to play a few tunes.
Keith’s definitely has a busy few weeks ahead of him, as he prepares not only for the series finale of “American Idol,” but also the upcoming “All for the Hall” concert, which Keith will headline to help raise funds for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Artists scheduled to perform at the much-anticipated event include Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Peter Frampton, Florida Georgia Line, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Maddie and Tae, Jason Isbell and Maren Morris.
