We love a good wedding. No, not the reception, although we aren’t opposed to a good wedding reception with an open bar and a great band. We’re talking about the actual wedding here. A celebration of love so ethereal and pure that even the hardest hearts are melted and given hope for a happily-ever-after. We’re talking about weddings like Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly’s.
As previously reported, Kacey and Ruston exchanged “I dos” on Oct. 14. While a few special photos trickled out on both of their social media pages, we’re finally seeing what the bride and groom looked like on their big day and finding out where they tied the knot. And it is nothing short of magical.
On her Instagram page, Kacey shared the first photo of she and her new hubs walking down the aisle after the ceremony. She also poetically wrote, “Saturday, in a sacred place where two rivers meet and join together, I married my best friend .. surrounded by the deepest kind of magic and love that exists. I’ve never felt so tranquil and happy. We made our promises to each other under the trees and then drank and danced into the night.”

Saturday, in a sacred place where two rivers meet and join together, I married my best friend..barefoot and surrounded by the deepest kind of magic and love that exists. I've never felt so tranquil and happy. We made our promises to each other under the trees and then drank and danced into the night. We couldn't have done any of it without the help of our wonderful families and amazing friends. PHOTO BY @nbarrettphoto ……………………….. [extra massive thanks to Melissa and @evan_tate of @photowagontx + @bowsandarrowsflowers and crew for coordinating/planning/florals/styling and making everything a reality + @jbamn for the funny, personal and beautiful officiating, @peytonfrank, @allikdesign @unclecarl13 @leeuwnashville @thekindcake @indahevents @silveroakcellars Hair/Makeup by @carlenekmakeup + Ali at @thedryhousenashville We love y'all!] ❤️More to come.
Kacey wore a beautiful white lace backless sheath gown with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. The skirt flowed into an illusion chapel length train trimmed in lace. She wore her hair down with a simple fingertip veil and carried a cascading bouquet of autumnal flowers including lush, apricot-colored pompom dahlias.
Kacey’s horse, Mismo, wore a wreath of coordinating flowers.
Ruston appropriately wore a tuxedo with a kelly green velvet jacket trimmed in black satin and a black bow tie.
The couple shared their first kiss as newlyweds under a shower of confetti.
Our congratulations join so many others for this happy couple on their beautiful day. We hope they’re off to a relaxing and romantic honeymoon!
