For the past few weeks, fans have marveled over Julianne Hough’s Instagram feed, as she has been openly sharing much of her wedding and honeymoon with her followers. Yet, a picture that the dancer extraordinaire and onetime country singer shared on July 29 seemed to get a bit more attention than most.
While the first half of her honeymoon featured downright sexy photos of Julianne and her new hubby, Brooks Laich, sharing time on the beach, the lovey-dovey couple is now on an African safari that looks downright blissful. In one pic, Julianne is shown from the back taking a picture of a hippo that appears to be just feet away from her.
Fans were quick to mention that they were surprised that the lovely new bride would get so close to such a dangerous animal. “AAGGHH!!! Stay away, Jules!! They’re the second most dangerous animal in Africa!! Never be anywhere near a hippo when it’s on land!!” one fan wrote, while another wrote, “How are you so close?! Hippos are seriously the most dangerous animals.”
Other fans also seemed to be a tad miffed at her caption for the pic, which read, “Going in to the honeymoon I was feeling pretty dang fit. Coming off of the honeymoon, I may be more in line with this guy!” Some fans didn’t like that comment, as Julianne’s amazing physique has been much on display as of late. “There’s literally nothing worse than a skinny girl comparing herself to hippo,” one fan wrote, while another quipped, “Please, I don’t need to hear how fat you feel.”
