Jerrod Niemann ushers in the summer with a patriotic performance

Can you feel it?

Summer is officially here. The temperatures are rising, the grills are smoking and some of country music’s biggest stars are heading to New York City to play on the stages of some of the most popular cable and network morning shows.

This year, that first performance goes to Kansas native Jerrod Niemann, who headed to “Fox & Friends” May 22 to kick off their “All-American Summer” concert series. While there, he performed his hit single “Drink To That All Night” from his current record “High Noon” to an enthusiastic crowd of onlookers and military service members.

And while it might have been a tad early in the morning, leave it to Niemann to have a red solo cup on his microphone stand…full of coffee we assume! Crowd members were also invited to partake in some Famous Dave’s barbeque while they checked out the free concert, which will happen every Friday throughout the summer months.

Niemann himself is set to spend his summer making a handful of solo and festival appearances, and working on some brand new music to follow-up some of his past hits including “Lover, Lover” and “What Do You Want.”
