Christmas came a little bit earlier than expected for Jason Aldean and his beautiful wife Brittany. But, that’s okay, because they wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!
The married couple, who will celebrate their third anniversary in March, welcomed the best Christmas present ever — their first baby boy, Memphis — into the world on Dec. 1. But it turns out the first of the month wasn’t actually the child’s due date. He was expected closer to Dec. 8.
Brittany, who loves sharing big moments with fans on social media, marked her son’s actual due date on Instagram with an adorable family photo, and perhaps the most thoughtful message a new mother could write.
She wrote, “Today was Memphis’ due date, but thankfully he came a week early so we get more time with him💙. You make life a trillion times better, little man! We love you SO much👶🏻💋 #sleepyparents #ohsoblessed.” The post also includes a shot that shows her smiling happily with her hands wrapped around Jason. Meanwhile, her country singer hubs is shown cradling their little bundle of joy in his arms.
As for sweet Memphis, he sleeps soundly in the protection of his doting dad’s hold.
There’s no doubt that Brittany and Jason know the value of spending time with their loved ones, especially given what they went through earlier this year. Fans will remember that Jason was performing onstage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas when a gunman opened fire, killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 others. Memphis entered the world two months later, weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces. We truly couldn’t be more grateful to know that the married couple had a safe and successful birth.
Brittany, who is clearly enjoying being a new mom, posted a second loving post on Dec. 10 to let the world know just how proud she truly is to be able to call herself a mother.
“All those things you hear people say over the years … the ‘You won’t understand until you have a child’ … ‘It’s the most rewarding job in the world’ … they all make sense now. 💚 #soinlove,” she wrote alongside a screenshot of a note which read, “I am proud of many things in life but nothing beats being a mother.”
So, it seems like Jason and Brittany have everything they could possibly need to cap off their year on a high note. Well, except for one — and that’s a Rare Country Award! But you can help with that. Jason has earned two nominations, Tour of the Year and Fan Moment of the Year in the Rare Country Awards, and it’s up to our readers to decide if he wins. Vote now through Dec. 13 at RareCountryAwards.com. Winners will be revealed during a livestreamed concert event on Dec. 14 in Nashville.
