Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, have been together for a few years now, so we’re thinking they should be making some babies any day now, right?
Turns out they’re thinking the same thing.
Jason says, “It’s definitely something we’ve talked about something we want to do. I think that’s kind of like, ‘Whenever it’s meant to be, it’s just gonna happen.'”
Brittany is a great step-mom to Jason’s two girls from his previous marriage, so he’s all for adding to the family very soon.
“I’d like to say, ‘Well, it’s gonna happen next week,’ but I don’t know,” Jason says. “That’s a little up in the air there. We’re down for that 100 percent, and we’ll see whenever that time comes.”
Right now, Jason is focused on delivering his new album, “They Don’t Know,” to his fans on Sept. 9. The project features the high-octane, No. 1 hit, “Lights Come On,” as well as his melancholy latest single, “A Little More Summertime.” The sound of the new music is classic Aldean since he only records with his road band and his longtime producer, Michael Knox.
He says, “My guys, I know what I’m getting out of ’em. Michael was the guy that discovered me and brought me to town in ’98, and we’ve been working together ever since. He and I are on the same page as far as that goes. He knows me almost as good as I know myself at this point.”
