There’s no denying that babies are cute. Their sweet smiles, button noses, tiny feet and chubby cheeks bring so much joy into the world.
But, aside from all of the adorableness, raising a child is also a lot of work. Not only do parents have to change their little one’s diapers, and clean their spit up, but they also have to attend to their child’s crying needs, even if it’s the middle of the night.
With that said, there’s no doubt that Jason Aldean and wife Brittany are experiencing both the joys and difficulties of parenting. The two, who welcomed their first child together and first son, Memphis, into the world on Dec. 1, have been taking to their respective social media pages ever since with loads of photos of their sweet little bundle of joy.
And, while Brittany — a first-time mommy — has been sharing more blissful photos of the couple’s kiddo with fans online, hubby Jason, who is also father to two daughters, Keeley, 14, and Kendyl, 10, from a previous marriage, decided to finally post a pic that showcases one of the tougher realities of parenthood.
On Jan. 17, the 40-year-old country music superstar took to his personal Instagram page with a photo that features Memphis sobbing up a storm.
Captioning the shot of his fussy little boy waiting to be fed, Jason wrote, “@brittanyaldean is always posting pics of Memphis that are good, but this is actually the stuff she doesn’t post. #reallife #hangry.” The unhappy Memphis still looks adorable in a white and blue onesie with his pacifier on his arm attached to a lobster-shaped stuffed animal.
Even though Jason gave fans a glimpse of what happens behind-the-scenes with the couple’s newborn, you can bet that Brittany made sure to show yet another sweet picture of her little tyke looking like an angelic ball of sunshine.
In Brittany’s photo, shared to her Instagram page, the little boy is wearing the same outfit but appears to be much more content. While turned to his side, he shows off his gorgeous blue eyes and quietly sucks on his pacifier.
“Baby blues,” Brittany simply wrote with a heart emoji alongside the adorable photo.
Okay, y’all. We’ve already forgotten about this sweet nugget’s crying tantrum. How about you?
