Jason Aldean just released a new video that proves that he hasn’t forgotten where he came from YouTube/Screenshot

There’s something about a country music star going back to his small high school, walking through the dark halls and stopping at his old locker and looking at his old trophies, that is incredibly hot.

Or is it just us?

Whatever you may think of Jason Aldean’s new video for his current single “Gonna Know We Were Here,” it is quite sweet to know that the Georgia native hasn’t yet forgotten where he came from. Recently filmed at his old high school Windsor Academy, the video also feature shots from a good ole “Friday Night Lights” type of football game and pep rally.

“This song pretty much sums up how I feel like me and my fans live our lives,” said Aldean in a recent press release. “That same excitement is what we feel out there on the road every night, which made it a great name for next year’s tour. It was pretty cool that we could bring that vibe to the music video too by shooting it back in Macon with a ton of people from my hometown. Getting back there and on that high school football field really reminded me of that rush of just living life without any regrets.”
