Jana Kramer just made an appearance on the Netflix talk show “Chelsea” to talk about the mommy shaming she’s experienced online since she had her baby in January. The interview was filmed before news broke that Jana and her husband, Mike Caussin, have separated, but some of her comments may shed some light on why the marriage isn’t working out.

According to ET, sources close to the couple say Mike is being treated in a rehab center for undisclosed reasons. The couple hasn’t appeared together on any of Jana’s social media posts in about a month, but she hasn’t yet spoken directly about the split.

On “Chelsea,” Jana did say that her approach to life changed when she turned 30 years old, though.

Looking back on her 30th birthday, Jana says, “Around that time is when shit started to click for me. It wasn’t until I was, like, 30, that I was like, ‘I don’t need any bullshit in my life.'”

Jana went on to joke that men really don’t hit that maturity point until about 50 years old.

You’ll remember Jana was engaged to country star Brantley Gilbert a few years ago, but that engagement was called off. She had been married twice before her most recent marriage to Mike.

“It’s never going to be perfect,” Jana admits, “but at the same time, I was in bad situations in my 20s. Now, in my 30s, I’m like, I’m stronger. I respect myself more to put myself in better situations than I did before.”
