Is the always soulful Usher going country? Check out his take on a Blake Shelton hit

All of a sudden, we are hearing Blake Shelton’s ode to breakups in a whole new way.

And we like it.

At the United Way of Dallas’ 90th Anniversary Celebration this week, soulful crooner and fellow “The Voice” judge Usher took the stage and put his special touch on Shelton’s 2014 hit “Neon Light,” with amazing results! The two also collaborated that same night on Shelton’s hit “Home”, a song that was originally released by Michael Bublé.

In a press conference before the event, the coo-some two-some said that participating in the United Way cause was a true no-brainer. “This is one of the most giving people I know,” Shelton said of Usher during the press conference.

Shelton is currently counting down the days till he joins country music superstar Luke Bryan as hosts of the upcoming 50th annual ACM Awards, which will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 19. With over 55,000 fans expected to be in attendance, organizers expect the event to become the largest live awards show ever staged.
