Maybe the only thing more surprising than the White Sox doing well is seeing Luke Bryan in a White Sox uniform.

Has the country superstar traded in his guitar for a baseball glove?

Have no fear, there’s no chance that Luke is saying farewell to country music.

Even though the country star attended the White Sox spring training in 2015 and appeared in full uniform when he met the media, there was no mistaking he was there strictly as a guest and not as a potential free agent.

While he jokingly introduced himself as a hot new prospect, he shot that rumor down real quick.

“What’s better than dressing up in a White Sox outfit,” Bryan joked.

“I learned at a young age that I was not an athlete. I went to the same high school that Buster Posey did in Leesburg, Georgia. We had a real good baseball program down there, and I saw all these boys hitting multiple home runs and not getting drafted. I figured baseball is not for me, maybe I need to pick up a guitar or something. Glad I made the right choice,” Luke said.

We are too, Luke. We are too.
