If heaven has a choir of angels, then it must sound something like this YouTube

If you ever wondered what a choir of angels sounds like, this just might be it.

“Will The Circle Be Unbroken” has been one of the most popular Christian hymns since the early 1900s. Over the years, it has become the unofficial theme song of country music.

Its title is emblazoned in the rotunda of the Country Music Hall of Fame, positioned proudly above the plaques of the inductees. Each Opry night it is tradition for all the artists to gather and sing the beautiful hymn to to round out the festivities.

But the most famous version of the song probably came in 1989.

Many of country music’s most legendary artists, including June and Johnny Cash, Roy Acuff, Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, all squeezed into one studio to lay down a recording for the ages.

So many of the voices on this recording have since passed, but we thank God for their time, talents and the song they left behind. If heaven truly does have an angel choir, how lucky are we that we got to hear them first.
