Pop star Tori Kelly has a big country connection. When she was 12 years old, she appeared on a TV show called “America’s Most Talented Kid.” Another contestant on that show just happened to be CMA Award-winner Hunter Hayes.

Hunter and Tori just had a sweet reunion onstage in Nashville singing this duet of Hunter’s 2011 smash hit, “Wanted.” They hadn’t seen each other since appearing on the show so many years ago, but their voices sounded amazing together on this acoustic performance.

Hunter was so amazed by Tori’s voice, he had to just stop a moment to compose himself before they launched into the chorus.

Hunter even told Tori, “You have no idea how nerve-racking it is to sing onstage with you, by the way. This is how nervous I was 12 years ago. Seriously, I mean, come on!”

Tori has another country connection besides Hunter, though. A few months ago she teamed up with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild for a duet on LBT’s smash hit “Girl Crush.”
