Willie Nelson has always been a force of nature. So, we normally don’t worry much about the country icon. But then, every once in a while, country fans are reminded that Willie is indeed human.

And humans often get sick, especially when they are 83 years old.

That’s just what has happened to Willie, who had to postpone his Nov. 14 concert scheduled to take place at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center due to feeling “under the weather,” according to a statement from the venue. Plans are that the concert will be rescheduled at a later date. In the same statement, fans were asked to simply hold onto their tickets until a new show date is announced.

Just two days before, Willie was onstage at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas, with one music reviewer saying that “his concert wasn’t perfect” but gave fans “all they wanted.” Of course, Willie also is currently dealing with the death of friend and music icon Leon Russell, who passed away at the age of 74 on Nov. 13.

Currently, Willie’s website shows that he will be performing seven more concerts throughout the month of November, with stops in Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana.

We send well wishes and love to Willie Nelson at this time. Get well soon!
