Carrie Underwood has taken her live show Down Under, and there are some big changes from her recent Storyteller Tour. While that show was in the round, Carrie’s new stage setup features a huge video screen wall behind her. Part of the stage itself is a video screen as well.
There’s a huge light show to go along with the video images, but Carrie and her larger-than-life voice are at the center of it all. She’s teamed up with Keith Urban for this run of shows throughout Australia and New Zealand.
In this clip from their stop in Adelaide, Australia, Carrie is seen greeting fans and hanging out backstage before the show.
Carrie and Keith continue their Down Under tour through a two-night stint in Brisbane, Australia Dec. 16-17. They’ve been electrifying audiences together with the live performance of their duet, “The Fighter,” which appears on Keith’s latest album, “Ripcord.”
Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban are nominees for the first-ever Rare Country Awards. Carrie is in the running for Female Artist of the Year, Story of the Year, Grand Ole Opry Moment of the Year, as well as Tour of the Year for the Storyteller trek. Keith is mentioned in the Fan Moment of the Year category. Voting is now underway at RareCountryAwards.com. Winners will be announced Dec. 15.
