Former Steel Magnolia member and "The Voice" finalist takes on Little Big Town — and it’s a stunner

“The Voice” contestant Meghan Linsey had quite a wake-up call this morning.

Linsey’s performance of Little Big Town’s hit “Girl Crush” on the April 13 episode of “The Voice” had all of America buzzing and craving more from the blonde bombshell, who country fans know best from her days as one half of the duo Steel Magnolias and hits such as “Keep On Loving You” and “Last Night Again.”

“I’ve always thought it was a mistake for Meghan to abandon country [and her built-in country fan base from her Steel Magnolia days] for rock/soul music, but I think she found her niche here — singing soulful, bluesy, modern country,” explained Lyndsey Parker of Yahoo! Music.”This performance was just perfect. I’ve totally got a girl crush on Meghan Linsey.”
