Just two months after the stabbing of his sister, Kane shared news with the world that he had once again been hit by tragedy.

“R.i.p Papa I love you” Kane wrote in a Sept. 23 Facebook post

Seconds after sharing the news, Kane’s faithful legion of fans flooded him with messages of sympathy. “I know being away when stuff is going on back home is probably killing you…but gods got your Grand Pap in his arms now,” one fan lovingly wrote. “You’ve got another guardian angel!♡”

In a recent interview with Rare Country, Kane reflected on his sister’s stabbing and the strength he received from all of the people that shared well wishes during what was such a tough time for him and his family. “My sister’s doing really good,” he told Rare Country. “She was at my last show in Knoxville and luckily she had a tattoo right where she got stabbed so it kind of just looks like a tattoo still. It felt awesome to get so much support from the fans during all that. Seeing all the retweets was awesome.”

Rare Country will update this story as we get more information. Until then, we send our deepest condolences to Kane and his family.
