Now that the year is coming to a close, Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard has many things to think about. For one, his beautiful, pregnant wife, Hayley, is due to have their baby girl any day now.
But aside from the impending arrival of their little princess, Tyler is organizing his life to set up for next year, and one of his tasks includes cleaning out his tour bus.
Tyler revealed in a recent Instagram post that while he was emptying out the band’s bus, he found something very important during the cleanup.
“I am so thankful for all of the amazing people in my life. Today I cleaned off the bus for 2017 and found these,” he posted on Dec. 14, captioning a photo of a huge collection of handwritten notes on index cards.
I am so thankful for all of the amazing people in my life. Today I cleaned off the bus for 2017 and found these. Every morning we would wake up to a bible verse and a little word of encouragement from our bus driver Jake. It always meant the world to me and I’ll collect these for as long as he’ll keep doing it. Surround urself with people that lift you up so that you can lift others up as well. It’s the little things in life. #morethanabusdriver
“Every morning we would wake up to a bible verse and a little word of encouragement from our bus driver, Jake,” he continued. “It always meant the world to me, and I’ll collect these for as long as he’ll keep doing it.”
Now that’s incredibly heartwarming!
After revealing just how thoughtful the band’s bus driver is, Tyler went on to share some valuable advice with his followers.
“Surround [yourself] with people that lift you up so that you can lift others up as well,” he wrote. “It’s the little things in life. #morethanabusdriver.”
Well said, Tyler! We just love the positivity.
Perhaps FGL’s bus driver’s encouraging bible passages have been helping the duo on their career path, too, since they just shared a big time business venture. Tyler and his singing partner, Brian Kelley, recently announced that they’ll be opening up a “creative compound” in Nashville, which will include spaces for Brian and wife,Brittney’s clothing line, the Tribe Kelley Trading Post, as well as the duo’s music publishing company, Tree Vibez Music, and a private gathering area. That comes on the heels of the huge restaurant and bar, FGL House, the duo opened in downtown Nashville earlier this year.
Before the new opening of their additional “compound,” they’ll end the year on one big high note. FGL has been added to the lineup for the West Coast celebration of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018” special. The festivities kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 31 on ABC.
