The country music baby boom that actually started in late 2016 now has a new addition to the super-sized class. Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his gorgeous wife, Hayley, have just welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Tyler and Hayley shared the big news on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, that Olivia Rose was born in Nashville. She weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces, and mommy and Olivia are doing just fine.
“We’re so overwhelmed with joy and already more in love than we could have ever imagined with this little angel that God has given us,” the proud new dad tells “People.” “Olivia is the best Christmas gift we could have ever asked for.”
The most huggable little Hubbard gave her mom and dad a big surprise well before she even made her debut. When Tyler and Hayley shared the happy news back in June that they were expecting, they also revealed the gender of their baby-to-be as a boy. However, just a few weeks later, a doctor’s visit and blood test revealed that their little one would actually be a girl.
That likely won’t be the last surprise the little nugget springs on her folks for the next 20 years or so. But the good thing is, she’s getting a solid foundation early in life. Not only will mommy be attending to her needs right now, daddy will be home for the next month or so while Florida Georgia Line takes a break from touring until February.
It is a busy month for babies and country music in Nashville-area hospital’s labor and delivery rooms. In addition to Olivia, Jason Aldean and wife Brittany welcomed their son, Memphis, on Dec. 1. And the two sets of parents have been joking that plans are already in motion for these two to meet, date and marry. Heck, we’d settle for them singing a duet together!
And why stop there! Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and wife Kelli brought a baby girl Lillie home on Dec. 22 and Rodney Atkins and wife Rose Falcon’s first child together, Ryder made his debut on Dec. 14.
It isn’t slowing down in 2018 either. Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott is getting the party started in February when she and husband Chris Tyrell add twin baby girls to their family that includes daughter Eisele. And Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane are also expecting twins in 2018.
Tyler’s Florida Georgia Line partner, Brian Kelley and his wife Brittney have not announced any plans to add to their family yet, but they did launch their new Nashville boutique, Tribe Kelley, in December, and that most definitely was a labor of love.
Congratulations to the happy Hubbards!
