Flashback to the moment Justin Bieber dipped his toe into the country pool YouTube

Before the controversies, tattoos and swinging door of girlfriends, Justin Bieber was just a cute guitar playing hit-maker craving the chance to perform with three fellow hit-makers.

Those hit-makers were the men of Rascal Flatts.

The song “That Should Me Be” was originally featured on Justin’s first album, “My World 2.0,” and quickly became a fan favorite in March of 2010. Yet, the song showed up on the country charts just months later, when Justin collaborated with the country music duo for his remix album “Never Say Never – The Remixes,” along with an accompanying video in 2011.

And it didn’t end there.

The music video went on to win the award for Collaborative Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards on June 8, 2011.

Of course, life is much different these days for Bieber, but not so much for Rascal Flatts. The country trio will wrap up their Rhythm & Roots residency at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on March 5, and they are enjoying watching their current single “I Like The Sound of That” continue to trek up the charts.
