But often, there are tiny moments for the artists that turn out to be huge moments for their fans. One of those huge moments came at a recent Lady Antebellum concert, when a deserving mom of two special needs children received the surprise of a lifetime.

Restorative nursing coordinator Melissa Hill recently became the latest winner of the 7FOR7 initiative that the award winning country trio is doing alongside Quicken Loans. Hill received a year’s worth of mortgage relief, but originally had thought she had come in second place, awarding her only with a trip to see a Lady A concert.

“She’s an amazing woman,” Lady A’s Hillary Scott said during the announcement, which occurred at a special pre show concert. “I’m sorry…I’m getting choked up.”

Don’t worry Hillary…. so were we.

Next up for Lady Antebellum will be a special trip back to Nashville, where the trio will attend the CMT Music Awards on June 10th, where the talk around town is that they will be performing alongside electronic music artist Zedd. Lady A will also perform on the CMA Music Festival’s main stage at LP Field on June 12.
