Eric Church isn’t shy about letting his political opinion be known Associated Press

One of the greatest things about Eric Church is that he isn’t afraid of anything. He’s not afraid to take chances, he’s not afraid to break rules, and he sure as hell isn’t afraid to voice his opinion.

So when he visited WQYK-FM in February 2016 and politics came up, Mr. Misunderstood didn’t shy away.

“Oh my God,” he said. “It almost resembles WWE or something. I think it’s one of the most interesting things. I’ve never been very political and I think I’m where most of the country is, where I feel like stuff just doesn’t get done regardless of who’s in charge.”

While he said he was still undecided on whom he would be voting for, he did admit that he likes some things about a few people but hasn’t settled in on who is getting the Eric Church endorsement.

“There’s a lot about a number of candidates that I like,” he continues. “I wish I could squash it all together and make one, like that transformer or choose your own adventure [book]. I wish I could make my own candidate and mold them together.”
