Eric Church goes from a guy just playing guitar on a tailgate to a guy playing music on his own radio show

Eric Church has sure come a long way from playing “Guys Like Me” on his tailgate.

Church’s star power has exploded in recent years, so much so that the country rebel will now become the host of his own monthly radio show.

“Outsiders Radio” will air on SiriusXM’s The Highway and will allow Church to delve into the backstory of some of his biggest hits as well as touch on those songs that never saw the light of the day.

On February 27, the premiere show celebrated the one-year release of his groundbreaking album “The Outsiders,” which spawned number one hits such as “Give Me Back My Hometown” and “Talladega.” The album is also nominated for an ACM Award for top album this April.

Outsiders Radio” will air on the last Friday of every month starting February 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET via satellite on The Highway channel 56 and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smart phones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com. The show will also be rebroadcast on Mondays at 12:00 a.m. ET and Wednesdays at 11:00 p.m. ET.
