“Yes, grief is deep and no one knows the heartache of another but I do know my niece, ‘sweet T’ Tever is with the Lord and we find comfort in the scriptures during this time,” Dolly’s sister Stella wrote in a Facebook post underneath a comforting bible verse. “Please pray for my brother Randy, my sister-in-law Deb, my niece Heidi and my great nephew Houston and our entire family. Our hearts are broken. Thank you for your kindness and respect at this time.”

According to an obituary, Tever lived in Sevierville, Tennessee until her death on March 26. The obit goes on to say that “she was preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Avielee Parton and George and Betty Humphrey” and that survivors include “several aunts, uncles and cousins.”

Funeral services have taken place, and Dolly herself has not mentioned the death on any of her socials. However, many fans expressed their thoughts and sent their prayers in various comments on Stella’s Facebook page.

We send our condolences to the entire Parton family at this difficult time.
