Dolly Parton’s big plans for 2016 just got even bigger. The superstar has announced she’ll team up with pop star Katy Perry at next month’s ACM Awards!

There’s no word on what the two ladies will be singing together, but we have a feeling it will be one of the big highlights from the show. In case you didn’t know, Katy is no stranger to Dolly’s catalog of hits. Katy and her pal Kacey Musgraves even covered Dolly’s late ’70s smash “Here You Come Again” on an installment of CMT “Crossroads” a few years back.

The ACM Awards are also honoring Dolly with the Tex Ritter Award this year for her hit TV movie, “Coat of Many Colors.” That trophy is given to country stars who make a splash in the world of TV and film.

The 51st Annual ACM Awards will broadcast live from Las Vegas on CBS Sunday, April 3.

News of Dolly’s upcoming performance with Katy Perry comes on the heels of her announcing a brand-new album and tour, titled “Pure and Simple.” We’ll keep you posted when Dolly announces more details on those projects in the coming weeks.
