The legendary Dolly Parton and her beloved husband, Carl Dean, have been married for 50 long years.

And you’ve got to admit that THAT’s downright impressive!

The “9 to 5” singer and her sweet hubby celebrated their mega milestone on May 30. And, to commemorate the once-in-a-lifetime engagement, they renewed their vows in a private Nashville ceremony.

“My first thought was I’m gonna marry that girl,” says Carl in a press release about the first time he laid eyes on his Dolly, “My second thought was, ‘Lord she’s good lookin’.’ And that was the day my life began. I wouldn’t trade the last 50 years for nothing on this earth.”

While the moment they shared was absolutely spectacular, it sure was intimate as the rarely seen Carl keeps a low profile. Now, Dolly and Carl are going public with their 50th anniversary images in one very special way. They will sell them to the highest bidder to benefit children’s charities.

In addition to that, Carl will also be doing an exclusive fan interactive interview.

“If I had it to do all over, I’d do it all over again, and we did,” says Dolly, “I’m dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck. In all honesty, the only way I was able to get Carl to do any of this in the first place was that it was a great opportunity for us to raise money for some very worthy causes.”
