Dierks Bentley is creating a dark soap opera with this deadly video series YouTube/UMG

While you’ve been enjoying the feel-good vibes of Dierks Bentley’s latest No. 1 hit, “Somewhere on a Beach,” on the radio, the country superstar has been slowly rolling out a mini soap opera to introduce the rest of his new album, “Black.”

The black-and-white videos have been detailing a secret affair between a guy and a married woman in the first two clips for “I’ll Be the Moon” and “What The Hell Did I Say,” respectively.

Things turn deadly serious in the just-released third video — “Pick Up.” The woman’s husband finds out about the forbidden affair and all hell breaks loose. Just wait until the end of the video for the murderous cliffhanger.

Of note, it’s important to watch these videos in order so you can follow the story and also avoid any spoilers to the storyline.

By the way, Dierks’ duet partner on “I’ll Be the Moon” is none other than “My Church” singer Maren Morris.

All of these songs will be included on Dierks’ new album, “Black,” due out May 27.
