Did country music superstar Blake Shelton just make a love connection on “The Voice?” See for yourselves YouTube/Screenshot

We don’t know about you, but we are fairly addicted to “The Voice” so far this season…and not just because it gives us another way to see Blake Shelton every week.

The contestants so far have been darn good!

So good, in fact, that we would turn our chair for them anytime.

In a just-released promo for the Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 episodes, Shelton certainly intrigues us with a response he gives to one thrilled, fedora-wearing artist. “We already have such a cool connection,” Shelton tells the artist.

“Is this dating…or The Voice?” fellow coach Adam Levine asks Shelton.

“Hey – the world is changing…I’m up for that too,” Shelton quips back.

Let the rumors fly!

But seriously, Shelton looks to be creating quite a stable of artists as the blind auditions come to a close next week. One of the standouts has been a former country singer in Nashville who was once known as ‘the next Travis Tritt.’

“I got signed at 15 (years old) and (Big and Rich’s) John Rich became my manager and producer when I was out on tour and I got a call and it was the president of the label saying they were closing down,” Tyler Dickerson told the crowd after getting Shelton to turn his chair for him after his rendition of “Hard to Handle.” “After that, I got into a bad car accident and flipped my van over five times and you know, I had it all and it was all taken away, but now I am here and this is my second chance.”
