Julianne Hough had the kind of wedding day that you’d only find in fairy tales, according to her brother, Derek.

In fact, the former “Dancing With the Stars” pro says he “gets emotional” when he reflects on his baby sister’s magical ceremony, which took place on July 8 near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

“I was tearing up just now,” Derek confessed, while speaking with “Access Hollywood’s” Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover after they showed photos from the wedding. “The whole week was something straight out of a movie.”

“I’m going to get married in Vegas, because there’s no competing against that, ever,” he joked. “Either that, or I’ll have [my sister] plan my wedding,” he added with a laugh.

The weekend finally arrived- And it was MAGICAL!!! The weekend my best friend, my love of my life, and my new husband @brookslaich and I brought our family and closest friends together to have fun, encourage love, and celebrate our marriage! Turns out that Derek is just as much of a fan of Julianne’s new husband as he is of his sister. In fact, he had nothing but nice words to say when he gave his speech at the bride and groom’s ceremony.

“When I gave a few words, I basically said, ‘I’ve seen Julianne her whole life. I’ve been around her her whole life. We’re very close,'” he said, “‘I’ve seen her go through her different phases, and different versions of herself, as we’re trying to figure out who we are.'”

He continued, “'[Brooks] has 100 percent brought out the best version of who she is, and the version that she is right now is my absolute favorite. And, it’s because of him.’”

Meanwhile, it looks like the newlyweds headed off somewhere overseas for their honeymoon, based on a photo the bride posted on Instagram a week after the wedding.

We gone ✌🏼✈️ #honeymoon 🍯🌙
