The NASCAR world was shocked and heartbroken when superstar Danica Patrick recently announced her split from fellow NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., as well as when she announced her retirement from driving this year.
It was a loss for the entire circuit for Danica to retire. She was a formidable challenger and opponent in the series and the first female driver to break through to the main track, a groundbreaking and historic movement for women in sports.
But she is far from finished changing the world!
Being a badass driver is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Danica’s abilities and ventures. She’s a real entrepreneur, with her own clothing line, wine and a new health and fitness book.
And we didn’t know this, but Danica can cook! We don’t mean the basics, y’all, we mean really cook. So it only makes sense that she wouldn’t mind having her own cooking show one day.
In a recent interview with USA Today’s “For The Win,” the NASCAR superstar admitted that she has a lot of things she’d love to do, and a cooking show is just one of them.
“I’d also like to have a cooking show, to help people learn how to cook healthily,” she explained.
We could so see this happening. Have y’all seen some of her food pics on Instagram? They look like the work of a professional chef!
But this one might be our favorite. Yum!

Ya……😋 . 2 eggs, 1/4 c pumpkin, 1T maca powder, 2T paleo flour, cinnamon, ashwagandha, reishi, collegen. Cooked in coconut oil. Cover the top of the pan with a splatter screen to cook the top faster so you can flip them. Topped with banana, cashew butter, vanilla ghee, hemp seeds, and a little maple syrup. She also told the news outlet that she’d love to write another book and take on public speaking engagements!
“Retirement looks bright!” she told “For The Win.”
“I think many people retire and don’t know what they’re going to do next and have to figure it out, but I know what I’m going to do. I don’t doubt that [retirement] will change and shift my life in ways I would never expect, so I’ve got to be ready for that.”
She also said she’d love to travel, go to concerts and “see some fun places in the world,” and other “fun things on the side.”
We just hope that in the midst of all the things she has planned that lots of rest, relaxation and loads of fun are truly on the list, too.
Congratulations, Danica! And please do that cooking show!
