We love how every country star’s wedding seems to represent them perfectly. Sometimes they tie the knot near the beach, like Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans did, sometimes it is near the mountains like Eric Church and wife Katherine. Some get married around Nashville, like Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren, while others pick an exotic locale, like Jerrod Niemann and wife Morgan did in 2014.
And some go back home, like Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and his bride, Hannah Billingsley.
Shay and Hannah actually exchanged their vows last October, but the couple just got their wedding video and, although we have seen numerous photos of their big day, they don’t do it as much justice as this does.
Both Hannah and Shay shared a short clip of the piece on their respective Instagram pages, crediting Anchor Heart Films for creating the magical piece.
However, take a short trip over to the couple’s YouTube page, cleverly named “Han + Shay,” and you can see the full, almost four-minute piece.
And it’s one of the most romantic things we’ve ever seen.
As we reported previously, Shay and Hannah, a former Miss Arkansas, were married on his family’s farm in Arkansas with the breathtaking Ozark Mountains supplying the backdrop. Shay and the couple’s son, Asher James, were, of course, extremely dapper in classic black tuxedos, while Hannah was nothing short of stunning in her custom Ravini gown.
In the video, we can now see a postcard-perfect classic red barn near the ceremony site and a pure white pole tent with festive banners flying. You can also feel the emotion of that precious moment when Shay sees his bride for the first time and then when they walk away, hand-in-hand, as Mr. and Mrs. Mooney.
As enchanting as those romantic moments are, Hannah and Shay didn’t edit out those giggle-worthy events, like Hannah wrestling the wind for her veil or squirmy little monkey Asher just not being into the whole photo shoot.
But mostly what you see is the prelude to an amazing life together.
It’s been four months since Hannah and Shay said their “I dos” in that incredible hometown wedding, and it looks like this sweet little family is handling the “happily ever after” part just fine.
