The National Anthem sung at Super Bowl 34 was one of the best in history Youtube - Jammer7321

It was the year 2000, and our very own country music sweetheart was on fire.

Coming off the crazy success of her album “Breathe” and hits such as “The Way You Love Me,” Faith Hill was ready to tackle the New Year with one of the most important performances of her career. Clad in a black sweater and leather pants and a confidence that country music fans had seldom seen in the girl from Mississippi, Hill stepped upon the country’s most watched stage at Super Bowl XXXIV and delivered a performance of the National Anthem that few have yet to forget.

Later in 2000, Hill went on to sign an endorsement deal with Cover Girl and embarked on the ultra-successful “Soul2Soul Tour 2000” with hubby Tim McGraw. For six seasons, Hill even sang the coveted “Sunday Night Football” pre-show theme, giving it up to Carrie Underwood in 2013.
