Our two favorite fiery redheads just announced some huge news.
They are back!
Naomi and Wynonna Judd will return to the stage for the first time in five years for a nine show residency at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The concerts, properly dubbed “Girls Night Out,” will feature not only favorites, but also some of Wynonna’s solo work, along with new music set to be released on her new album early next year.
“It’s a look back, a look present and a look forward,” Wynonna told People on the morning of August 24. “We’re going to talk a lot about our story. We have a great sense of humor and the show’s about laughter and celebration as well as music.”
Wynonna seemed to refer to the decision in a tweet earlier in the day, where she seemed to point towards the real reason that she made the decision to go back out to perform with her mom.
“I know that my mama’s party dress is hanging, dry cleaned and ready to go,” added Wynonna. “I’m looking forward to this show because it’s an opportunity to celebrate my mom.”
